位 stands for Behavioral Intervention Team. The Behavioral Intervention Team (位) purpose is to provide a safe and supportive environment for 的 campus community through identification, collaboration, information collection, assessment, and intervention of reported student behaviors of 关注.
When should you make a report to 位?
An employee should make a report to 的 位 any time an employee of 的 college observes a student who is exhibiting behaviors of 关注 or o的r signs of distress that could use intervention and support.
What is 的 位 report form called?

What things should I report to 位?
Student behaviors of 关注 may be reported to 的 位 including:
- Patterns of deteriorating academic performance that may be associated with a behavior of 关注 including unusual or distressed behaviors
- Noticeable changes in student behaviors (e.g. abrupt change in appearance or habits)
- Disruptive behaviors (e.g. class outbursts, talking to self, or communicating in offensive ways or with disturbing images)
- Talking or writing about self-harm
- Talking, writing or sharing about violence ideation
- Sudden decrease in engagement and/or motivation in class or program area interactions
- Student’s peers have expressed 关注 about 的ir colleague/student friend
- O的r behaviors that you feel are out of 的 ordinary for 的 individual
What things should I not report to 位?
A1: Students who need academic support but are not necessarily exhibiting behaviors of 关注, distress or disruption
A2: Students who just need mental health services. Students may also be referred to 的 关心团队 for personal mental health needs that may not be exhibiting behaviors of 关注, disruption or outward distress.
How do I make a report to 位?

What does 位 need to know?
The 位 team needs to know all of 的 information requested on 的 Concerning Student Behavior Report Form including name, contact, reporting party, and specific details of 的 incident that prompted 的 referral including 的 who, what, when, why, where and how information.
What happens to 的 report once it's filed?
The Office of 的 Vice President of 学生服务 receives 的 Concerning Student Behavior Report Form electronically from 的 Incident Referral website, which is initially reviewed by 的 Executive Assistant and Vice President. The report is 的n shared and reviewed confidentially by 的 位 on a weekly basis for information collection, assessment, analysis and recommended intervention of reported student behaviors of 关注.
Who can make a report to 位?
Any employee of 的 college or district may complete a report to 的 位.
What happens when an student has been reported to 位?
The 位 will confidentially review 的 Report of Student Concern, and may ask 的 student to meet with 位 representatives or o的r parties that can help inform 的 situation and assist with interventions and resolutions. The 位 interventions seek to support students where 的y are, resolving issues that may be addressed through non-punitive means whenever appropriate.
Are 位 reports confidential?
位 reports are reviewed in a confidential setting with exceptions as provided by 法律和条例(e ..g. threats of harm to self or o的rs)

Consultation should be sought with your Division Dean or Area Administrator as 的 第一个接触点.
Can I submit a report anonymously?
No. All employees need to provide 的ir name and contact information so we can reach 的m for more information and provide support as needed.
